LaVista Fire Settlement

You'll need

1. All claims require proof of residency at LaVista Walk on November 10, 2023.
2. Documentation could include a lease or rental agreement, rent receipt or ledger, utility bill for the unit, or any other documentation that shows you resided in the unit at the time.
3. Additional documentation may also be required if you claim for property loss, such as receipts, invoices, bank/credit-card records, or any other documentation that can prove ownership at the time of the fire.
4. Write to the Court about why you do not like the Settlement.
5. Your objection must include a statement of class membership with unit number; the basis for your objection; any supporting documents; each instance you or your counsel objected to a class settlement in the last five years; state whether you intend to appear at the final approval hearing; and be signed by you. (Deadline: November 22, 2026)
6. Submit your Claim Form by November 22, 2026 to receive payment from the Settlement.
7. To opt out of the Settlement, submit a written Request for Exclusion to the Settlement Administrator postmarked by November 22, 2026.
